First Multiple Sclerosis Lectureship
2018
Dear Colleagues and trainees,
Our first Multiple Sclerosis Lectureship, with generous support from Biogen, was off to a great start! Dr. Jack Antel from Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University was our Inaugural MS Lecturer, and he gave an outstanding presentation on May 31, 2018. His talk was entitled "Glial Cell (Microglia/Astrocytes) Regulation of Inflammation in the CNS". He also gave a presentation at the Neuroscience Grand Rounds on June 1, 2018 ("Basis of Tissue Injury and Repari in Multiple Sclerosis").
Special thanks goes to Dr. Michael Levin, Saskatchewan MS Chair, who coordinated this MS Lectureship with the Neuroscience Research Cluster Seminar Series. Thank you also to all who came to support this important collaboration, and for making this the most highly attended seminar so far in the Neuroscience Seminar Series history!
Stay tuned for more updates on the next MS Seminar speaker later this summer!
Best wishes,
Francisco Cayabyab
